UNIVERSITY Campus Suffolk has welcomed Dr Suzanne Kane to CREATE, its innovative research and development centre based on the main UCS campus in Ipswich and at Adastral Park.
The centre, established in 1997, focuses on connections between education, technology and business. It became a full part of UCS from August 1, 2007.
It employs a multi-disciplinary team of research staff, as well as being able to draw upon subject specialists from across the academic departments of UCS.
UCS executive dean and director of enterprise Dr Peter Funnell welcomed her to the centre.
“Suzanne Kane will bring a wealth of experience in e-learning, research methods and evaluation activity to an already exceptionally strong team. She will be engaged in a number of project areas, including work with the Haven Gateway Partnership and BT,” he said.
Dr Kane said she was “delighted” to be joining CREATE.
“I look forward to building on the strengths of the centre and developing new areas of research and business and community involvement,” she said.
