Mr Bushby recently completed a term as the partnership's chairman and handed over the role to Noel Byrne, managing director of the Bedford Lodge Hotel in Newmarket.

However, Mr Byrne had had to step down temporarily from the role for personal health reasons, and Mr Bushby has agreed to stand in.

“We are pleased that Chris Bushby has kindly agreed to extend his previous role as chairman for the immediate future until Noel is able to resume the role,” said a spokesman for the partnership.
