A creative agency in Suffolk has designed a new website for clock watch maker Dent & Co, which is celebrating the 150th anniversary of its most famous work - the Great Clock of the Houses of Parliament, better known as Big Ben.

Southwold-based Spring Design & Advertising secured the brief to produce upgrade the www.dentlondon.com site to provide information about the company's current range of watches and clocks as well as a resource for owners of vintage pieces.

Dent, which was founded in 1814, also manufactured the Standard Clock at the Royal Observatory which keeps Greenwich Mean Time, while its recent commissions include the clock at London's St Pancras International, the largest new clock in Europe.

James Kindred, Spring's creative director, said: “We worked closely with Dent to ensure the quality and appeal of their products are communicated through the design, copy and functionality of the new site. The site's design complements Dent's printed material and in addition allows the consumer to view each product in more detail.”
