Staff at Suffolk specialist joinery firm TMJ have raised £6,000 which has been split between the company’s two chosen charities of the year.
During 2017, employees for the Bildeston-based business held a number of events to generate funds for both Macmillan Cancer Support and East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Staff took part in various physical challenges and coffee mornings and raised money through a tombola and raffle at their annual TMJ Family Fun Day.
Earlier this month two of the TMJ team visited the East Anglian Air Ambulance hangar in Norwich for a guided tour and a chance to chat to the doctors, paramedics and pilots before handing over a cheque.
Molly Wilson at TMJ said: “We are incredibly proud of the money we have raised and we are continuing to raise money for these two charities this year, kicking off with the East Anglian Air Ambulance ‘Only the Brave’ mud run in March.”
