Topping out milestone for Riduna Park development at Melton, near Woodbridge

The second phase of the Riduna Park commercial development at Melton, near Woodbridge, has reached a key stage in its construction.

The Mayor of Woodbridge, Clare Perkins, was invited to perform a “topping out” ceremony – traditionally held to mark a new building reaching its full height - by signing the last panel to be installed.
Guests at the event included other local councillors, business leaders, site tenants and contributors to the project which is being built by Norson Construction to a design by Jon Pattle of Ipswich architects firm Poole and Pattle.
Riduna Park, which is owned by Riduna Holdings, is already home to the new headquarters of Suffolk Coastal District Council and a second outlet for artisan coffee house brand Honey + Harvey, which is based in Woodbridge.
Katie Emerson, project lead at Riduna Holdings, said: “We are extremely proud and delighted at the response Riduna Park has received, among the local community, new tenants, and visitors to the site.

“We worked hard with our exceptional team of architects, builders and quantity surveyors to ensure we could create an outstanding business park. From the outset, we were determined to create a place which would make people proud to refer to as their place of work.”
Construction work on the site began in 2015 and the current second phase of development, which involves a mix of commercial spaces available for freehold purchase or lease, is due to be completed by April 2018.
