The event, organised by Haverhill Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was a glittering black tie affair held at Chilford Hall, Linton, near Cambridge, and was attended by more than 250 business people and sponsors.
Awards were made in 11 categories, with the Judges Awards for Business of the Year being chosen from among the winners.
Chairman of Haverhill Chamber of Commerce Paul Dunno said that after the initial awards in 2005 the chamber was delighted when St Edmondsbury Borough Council regarded the business awards as worthy of the CB9 branding, which was created to encompass the entrepreneurial and optimistic spirit of Haverhill.
