Trinity Park is cementing its position as Suffolk’s premier venue by expanding its events team. Helen Fomenko has joined the conference and events venue as a sales executive.

Helen, who has been based in Suffolk for seven years and has an excellent sales and events background, will help to develop further business activity at the popular events centre. She has previously worked as a trade stand officer for the Suffolk Show and at Tastes of Anglia.

She said: “I am excited about taking on a new challenge at such a prestigious venue and I’m looking forward to helping strengthen Trinity Park’s position as the county’s premier events venue.”

Christine Bond, commercial manager at Trinity Park Events, a trading subsidiary of the Suffolk Agricultural Association, said: “We are delighted to welcome Helen and we’re confident that her experience and skills will help to further develop our team and maximise revenue streams to support the charitable objectives of the Association”.

Chelmsford businesswoman Glenys Chatterley was elected to the role which had previously been held by David Miles, who has stepped down to concentrate on his growing business.

Essex FSB Chairman, Iain Wicks, said: “The role of Regional Secretary is a key part of the Essex FSB team as the post holder is responsible for ensuring effective communication between our county executive, the five branches and our members in more than 4,000 businesses across Essex, Havering and Redbridge.”

Gray Dawes has today announced the appointment of Nicola Cousins, FCCA, as Financial Controller and Company Secretary. Nicola, who will be based at the company’s head office in Colchester, Essex, joins Gray Dawes from First Data where, as Finance Manager, she worked as a business partner to senior management, responsible for budget management and reporting.

Further to this addition to the senior management team, Nikki Regan, formerly Operations Manager has been appointed Director, Operations while Sue Tasker, who joined the company in January, takes the title Director, Sales and Account Management. Completing the all female senior team is Suzanne Cockburn who was appointed CEO in May, demonstrating that there is no ‘glass ceiling’ at Gray Dawes.

Regional country estate agents Bedfords are pleased to confirm the appointment of sales managers at both their Bury St Edmunds and Aldeburgh offices.

Rosanna Percival first joined Bedfords in 2005 as James Bedford’s PA, and quickly progressed to the role of sales negotiator. In 2008 Rosanna moved to London and worked for two prestigious firms of Estate Agents in a successful 18 months, before returning to Suffolk in October 2009 to resume working in the specialised country market.

Matthew Piercy joined Bedfords in June 2007 having worked in the profession since October 2004. Matthew has lived in Suffolk all his life and after finishing his education at Framlingham College went straight into estate agency and has never looked back.
