TWO Suffolk firms have been shortlisted in the National Business Awards 2008.
Glazing Vision, a specialist provider of glass rooflights and skylights based in Brandon, has been named a finalist in the small to medium sized business of the year category.
Meanwhile, Tristram Mayhew from Go Ape! High Wire Forest Adventure based in Bury St Edmunds is in the running to be named entrepreneur of the year.
The two companies are among 150 organisations representing the finest entrepreneurs and businesses in the UK that will now go on to make presentations to the judging panel in the hope of picking up one of the 14 category awards.
The National Business Awards are considered a premier annual showcase of skills, achievements and innovation in business in the UK. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner in London in November.
Philip Forrest, chairman of the judges, said: “Another highest quality entry this year and as we look forward to the finalists' presentations I don't envy the task of the judges, for in every category every one of the finalists would make a worthy winner.”
