If you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise.

There might not be a teddy bears’ picnic in the forest – but you might find Heidi Franklin and Denise Winder running one of their events among the trees.

The two former Suffolk teachers have launched Wild Play in Bury St Edmunds, offering a combination of outdoor learning and forest school.

Ms Franklin said: “We work with groups of people of all ages to enable them to wonder, investigate, learn and discover the great outdoors. We provide time to play, relax, reflect and just be.

“Spending time in the woodland, away from technology and getting back to playing real games, cooking on a campfire, chilling out in a hammock, learning a new skill or just appreciating nature.
