UNIVERSITY Campus Suffolk (UCS) will be running a series of events around the county to coincide with Adult Learners' Week, the UK's largest and longest running festival of learning.

The events kick off with a children's care learning and development open evening on May 13 at the Ipswich Campus Waterfront Building. The course is work-based and designed to encourage experienced workforce practitioners employed in the sector to access higher education.

On May 14, a Learning at Work day takes place in Martlesham Health, and UCS Otley will host an open evening at their Otley Centre.

Claire Marrington, student recruitment officer at UCS, said: “Adult learners week is an excellent opportunity for those who have not considered education for some time and would like to return to learning. UCS welcomes any enquiries and will be running a number of events of the next couple of weeks to enable potential students to find out more.”
