Next month seed potato breeders, growers, merchants and agronomists will be gathering in Crieff, near Edinburgh, to discuss critical issues affecting the industry at the dedicated seed event organised by the Potato Council.

Held once again at the Crieff Hydro hotel in Perthshire, the Seed Industry Event on November 20 will be looking at new developments in the sector.

The programme will feature leading experts, topical subjects, practical workshops and the ever-popular Seed Industry Dinner.

Robert Burns, Head of Seed Export at the Potato Council, said: “The programme this year will consider the important issue of future delivery to our markets.

“Not only will the event give you an invaluable chance to hear the latest news, views and advice, it is also an important networking opportunity to catch up with suppliers, customers and colleagues – and to make valuable new contacts.”
