The University of Suffolk has hosted a delegation from China who came to the county to talk about the business and employment opportunities that exist in the high tech zone in the city of Suzhou.

The visit coincided with a conference that took place at the University of Suffolk’s Waterfront Building on Wednesday, which was jointly hosted by the Anglo Chinese Cultural Exchange.

The conference provided both UK and Chinese participants an opportunity to build business networks and exchange ideas.

Professor Simon Hallsworth, pro-vice-chancellor for the Faculty of Arts, Business and Applied Social Science, said: “As a consequence of this conference the Suffolk Business School has been invited to develop business opportunities, develop student exchanges and identify entrepreneurs whose enterprises could be potentially funded to work and study in Suzhou.”
