VIVIEN Winders has been appointed marketing and communications manager at East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA).
She joins the charity in a newly-created role to give clearer direction and focus to the charity's fundraising efforts across the region, and reports to its executive director Simon Gray.
Ms Winders has eight years' marketing experience and worked for four years at corporate communications agency MMM where she organised European-wide event programmes for major automotive companies before joining the National Trust in a strategy development role in 2003.
“The EAAA is a vital regional charity and one which any of us could need at any time,” she said.
“Its management team is determined to make our air ambulance service one of the very best in the UK and I will help them by ensuring that we communicate the fantastic work carried out by Anglia One and Anglia Two (the EAAA helicopters) effectively and consistently to our many audiences and stakeholders.”
