Staff at SEN Legal in Bury St Edmunds found two ways to help a disability charity celebrate its 100th anniversary – by taking part in a cycle challenge and then enjoying a cake sale.

The company signed up to Papworth Trust’s big birthday this year by becoming members of the charity’s Corporate Centenary Club.

And they took their place in the recent anniversary celebrations by participating in the charity’s 100 Care Miles Challenge and then organising a cake sale on the same day – raising more than £780.

Hayley Mason, Solicitor at SEN Legal, said: “We were more than happy to get involved to try to raise as much money as possible for Papworth Trust and the excellent work they do for disabled people.

“It is a cause very close to all of our hearts and would not have been possible without the support from our colleagues, families, suppliers and neighbouring businesses, so thank you to everyone who got involved.”

The 100 Care Miles Challenge is open to teams of up to 10 people cycling the distance from the comfort of their own office – via Papworth Trust’s customised static bike.
