FIREFIGHTERS were kept busy by a series of early morning bin fires in Ipswich.
At 12.06am a crew from Princes Street station was called to reports of a bin fire in Winchester Way.
One hose reel was used to tackle the flames, which were under control at 12.10am.
At 3am a crew from the same station was called to a wheelie bin fire outside a Chinese restaurant in Cambridge Drive. The fire was out within ten minutes.
A further two crews from Princes Street were then called at 4am to Hawthorn Drive where a wheelie bin was on fire.
Again, firefighters used one hose reel to fight the blaze, which was extinguished at 4.10am.
