POLICE have named a 24-year-old man who died in an accident when his van collided with a lorry carrying straw in Fordham.
Anthony Rowlands, of Martin Close, Soham, was driving a white Ford Escort van at 7.15am today (Thursday January 3) in Station Road when it was involved in the accident with a white Volvo lorry.
Police, ambulance and fire crews attended but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 24-year-old man from Barnstaple, Devon, who was driving the Volvo was uninjured.
Police have launched an investigation into the accident and are appealing for anyone with information to call 101.
