Motorists travelling towards Ipswich on the A12 last night faced lengthy delays due to a campervan fire.
Fire crews were called to the incident on the Witham slip road just after 8pm.
On attendance the vehicle was found to be 100% alight.
The northbound carriageway was closed between junction 21, for the B1389 for Hatfield Road, and junction 22 B1389 Rivenhall End.
