SCOTT Campos was in fine form but King's Lynn Barracudas lost 49-41 at Mildenhall on Sunday.
Another healthy crowd basked in the sun baked West Row circuit as the Suffolk outfit stormed in to an early lead with a 5 - 1 courtesy of skipper David Mason and teenager Oliver Rayson who had an excellent meeting his first after being promoted in to the No.2 race jacket
The meeting however was marred by two crashes in successive heats with new Mildenhall signing Darren Smith sliding off in heat two and injuring his knee but worse to come in the next was his brother Jamie who fell in a routine looking first bend crash but he had to be treated for an hour by the onsite track medics before being transferred to the local hospital where he is undergoing further tests.
When the meeting restarted the two now six men sides served up a very entertaining fixture where Fen Tigers other new signing Luke Priest rattled off three straight wins on his way to an impressive 11 point total, for the Barracudas Campos had probably his best meeting ever as he banged in a 16 point haul from seven rides.
