POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a pensioner was injured when a car lost control and collided with her vehicle in Great Holland. A 20-year-old in a Vauxhall Corsa was heading towards Frinton when he lost control and slid across the road and into a silver Honda Streambeing driven by a 72-year-old man from Holland on Sea.
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a pensioner was injured when a car lost control and collided with her vehicle in Great Holland.
A 20-year-old in a Vauxhall Corsa was heading towards Frinton when he lost control and slid across the road and into a silver Honda Stream being driven by a 72-year-old man from Holland on Sea.
The Honda was forced off the road and the driver's wife was left with whiplash injuries and shock and was taken to Colchester General Hospital but was not detained.
The driver of the Corsa also suffered whiplash and was also taken to hospital and released later.
Anyone with information about the accident in Clacton Road near to its junction with Manor Road just before 10pm on Wednesday should call Pc Roy Linton at Stanway road police on 01206 762512.
