The A12 was temporarily blocked after a car crashed into the central reservation on the A12 at Foxhall.
The Toyota Starlet collided with the barrier at 12.59pm on the southbound carriageway.
Emergency services had cleared the road by 1.12pm.
The female driver of the Toyota was unharmed in the crash.
