A man was left trapped in his car and it crashed into a ditch near a Suffolk holiday park.

Emergency services were called to the scene close to Pontins in London Road, Pakefield shortly after 5.30pm today.

Four crews from Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service attended and worked to free the man from his vehicle.

A police spokeswoman said the man was not seriously injured and did not require hospital treatment.

Fire crews attended from Gorleston, Wrentham, Southwold and Lowestoft South.
