FIREFIGHTERS tackled a car blaze in Ipswich last night.
The incident in Dover Road was reported to the service at 4.50pm and one crew from the Colchester Road Station was sent to the scene.
The car was found to be well alight and breathing equipment, a short extension ladder and a hose reel jet were used to extinguish the flames, which were out by 5.15pm.
