FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a car fire in Ipswich during the early hours of today.
One fire engine was called to the incident in Sandy Hill lane at 5.34am.
On arrival crews found one car that had been completely destroyed by fire.
One hose reel jet was used to fight the flames and the blaze was extinguished at 5.47am.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire Service said that the blaze was being treated suspicious and the police had been informed.
