Driver has lucky escape after car ends up in hedge

A driver has had a lucky escape after their car ended up buried in a hedge following a collision.
Suffolk Constabulary were first called to reports of a road traffic collision north of Bury St Edmunds at 12.56am this morning.
They arrived at the scene to discover a blue Lexus IS200 car buried in a hedge just off the A11 northbound.
The car was found near the Red Lodge bypass at the village of Barton Mills.
Officers assessed the driver of the car who was unharmed.
The driver was breathalysed but was under the legal drink-driving limit of 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath.
