Police are at the scene of a crash on the A1071 near Hintlesham this evening. Updates here.
Officers were called to reports a car had gone into a ditch near Hintlesham Hall at 10.16pm but when they arrived there was no-one inside.
Efforts are being made to trace the driver and any passengers, a police spokesman said, and it is not clear if anyone was injured.
Police have not closed the road and traffic is not being affected by the incident, the spokesman added.
Witnesses to the crash and anyone with information should call police on 101.
