A CAR on fire is causing delays for motorists travelling along the A12.
Police and fire services were called out at around 1pm to the scene of the fire on the northbound carriageway of the A12 at Kelvedon, just past the Total garage.
The fire was extinguished within 20 minutes and the car removed from the road, but bank holiday traffic had already built up and police are expecting it to take some time to clear.
