Care home residents have reciprocated the kindness of nursery staff who provided them with seeds and plants by baking them buns.
The 20 residents from Cornwallis Court in Bury St Edmunds popped into Nowton Park Nursery last week with their goodies.
As a result of the donations, which also included plant trays, the residents have been successful in growing herbs and tomatoes, which have been used in the home’s kitchen.
Nowton Nursery is run by social enterprise Realise Futures.
