A purse containing cash and numerous bottles of alcohol were stolen from a home in Theberton overnight on Sunday.
The incident happened on the ground floor of the property at some point between 10.30pm on Sunday and 7.45am yesterday morning.
The resident at the home was only made aware of the burglary after waking yesterday morning.
Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the village overnight on Sunday or anyone who may have information about the burglars should call Suffolk Coastal CID on 101, quoting crime number LE/15/1126.
