FIRE crews have freed two women who became trapped in their car after it crashed into a house.
Appliances from Halstead and Colchester were called to the accident on the Suffolk/Essex border just after 4.30pm. The car collided with a property in St James Street, Castle Hedingham.
Firefighters managed to release both of the women by 4.55pm.
Crews remained at the scene assisting police officers, who confirmed that the women were not injured in the accident.
