Casualty cut free after car crash in Finningham

A man was cut free from his car after an accident in Suffolk this evening.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue received reports of a crash on the B1113 in Finningham, near Eye, at about 7.15pm.

Crews from Eye, Stradbroke and Elmswell attended and found a man trapped in the vehicle.

Paramedics arrived at 7.45pm and the casualty was cut free.

Suffolk police later said the man suffered only a minor head injury. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.
