A talented former Samuel Ward Academy student is set to appear on the X-Factor live shows.

Jon Guelas, who is 18, has been put into a new boy band called United Vibe with mentor Robbie Williams.

The Oaks Community Primary School in Ipswich has received an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating.

It is believed that the school is the first primary school in the town to score this top rating since 2012.

A sudden closure of a shop in Rendlesham has left staff members jobless and confused.

The convenience store formally run as a Costcutter shut without warning on Thursday, October 11.
