A car has rolled on to its side on the B1070, blocking the road and forcing police to cordon off the stretch.
The incident happened on the B1070 between the A137 junction at Cattawade and East Bergholt.
No one is believed to be hurt and only one car was involved in the accident.
The road reopened later in the night at around 10pm.
