CCTV has been issued in connection with a fight outside the Buffalo Restaurant in Clacton.
A disturbance took place outside the Station Road restaurant at around 2.50am on Sunday, December 3.
During the incident, a man was punched.
The 48-year-old victim suffered facial injuries and a dislocated elbow.
Police have now issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
Officers said they appreciate the image is not very clear.
However, anyone who can identify the man or who has any information about the incident is asked to contact Pc Gabriella Bonura on 101.
