A CHEF has been jailed for attacking a popstar's 1 million Ferrari Enzo after he had seen him with a girl to whom he had an “emotional attachment”.

Aaron Billington inflicted nearly 10,000 of damage to the vehicle, which belonged to Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay, after seeing the girl go to the star's room at the three-star Brudenell Hotel in Aldeburgh on March 3.

The 21-year-old, who was jailed for 20 weeks at Ipswich Crown Court this morning, claimed at earlier hearing that he was "sparked into a fit of anger" after the singer made "deeply offensive” remarks.

Billington, who lived and worked at the hotel as a pastry chef, had been socialising with Jay Kay and other staff while on a night off.

The court was told today that Billington was “mocked” for his stutter.

He was later seen throwing stones at the car, which had its windscreen shattered and driver-side window smashed.
