A man has tonight been charged with murder following the discovery of a body in a property in Broomfield Road, Chelmsford, on Tuesday.
The victim, who was formally identified by his next of kin today, was Colin Evans, 39, of Broomfield Road, Chelmsford.
Unemployed Jose Correia Agrela, 29, of no fixed address, was charged with his murder tonight and will appear before magistrates in Chelmsford tomorrow.
He will stay in police custody until his court appearance.
