Chelmsford: Four-vehicle crash on A12 causes delays for motorists

Motorists are facing lengthy delays on the A12 near Chelmsford after a four-vehicle collision.

Police are currently on scene on the A12 near Boreham following the incident.

An Essex Police spokesman said no-one is believed to have suffered serious injuries.

Firefighters were forced to cut free three people who had become trapped, an Essex County Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said.

One lane has reopened, but debris remains on the road.
