Chelmsford: Ross Hughes, 26, wanted in connection with thefts from petrol station

Police are asking for help to trace Ross Hughes who is wanted for questioning in connection with two counts of theft from a petrol station in Waterhouse Lane in Chelmsford.

The alleged thefts are said to have taken place on September 10, 2013 and January 11, 2014. Mr Hughes, aged 26, previously lived in Chelmsford, but his current whereabouts are unknown.

He is white, of muscular build with short dark hair. It is possible that he may be in company with his brother Lawrence Hughes, aged 22.

Lawrence is also wanted by Essex Police for failure to answer bail and his image was circulated on February 3. He is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build, with brown eyes and short straight brown hair.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of either brother is urged to contact police at Chelmsford on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
