A woman suffered burns to one of her hands after a frying pan fire broke out in her kitchen.
The incident happened at a home in Mendip Road, Chelmsford, at about noon and two crews from the town attended the scene.
The blaze involved a frying pan and the flames were out by the time crews arrived. The 37-year-old woman was treated by paramedics.
