A 10-year-old boy has been flown to hospital with “serious” and “life-changing” injuries after he was involved in a crash in Essex.
A car and a children’s scooter collided in Coldnailhurst Avenue, Braintree at around 4pm today.
Officers are currently at the scene and a road closure has been put in place between Queens Road and Boleyns Avenue.
A spokesman for Essex Police said the boy had been taken to hospital by air ambulance with “life-changing injuries that are serious, but not believed to be life-threatening”.
