Cigarettes stolen after burglary at McColl’s in Melton, near Woodbridge

A large quantity of cigarettes have been stolen after a burglary at a convenience store in east Suffolk.

The incident happened at 12.09am this morning at McColl’s in The Street, Melton, near Woodbridge.

According to a spokesman from Suffolk police, a witness saw two people getting into the shop before leaving with a large bag and driving off in a silver estate car.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
