A family-focused circus is undertaking a mini tour this spring with a series of shows in Suffolk and Essex towns.

Circus Petite, from Ipswich, is aimed at people of all ages and will feature acts including Justo the Clown, jugglers, rope walking, hula-hooping, magic and fire displays.

The 150-seater circus tent will be at Dan’s Meadow, Bealings Road, Martlesham, from March 14-18; Beachside Events area in Felixstowe, March 21-25; Hurst Green in Brightlingsea, March 29-April 2; Elmstead Market Playing Field, April 5-8; and Trinity Park, Ipswich, April 18-22.

Daniel Bean, owner of Mr Bean Entertainments, said: “We had such a fabulous reaction from the people who came last autumn and we’ve had requests to do some shows in the spring so here we are. We cannot wait to get started.”

The shows will also include a performance as part of the Christies Care Community Day at Trinity Park on April 20 from 10am to 3pm.
