Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was punched and had his mobile phone taken.

The 13-year-old was walking through the alley near to Knox Road and the fire Station, Clacton, at about 4.30pm on Wednesday when he was approached by two youths.

They demanded his mobile phone, which he handed over, but because he did not have the charger they punched him.

The first suspect was of mixed heritage and had black hair. He was wearing a dark grey hoody with the hood up and dark blue jeans. He was slim aged 18 to 20 years, 5ft 10 ins tall, and had big eyes.

The second suspect is a white man, 5ft 7ins tall, slim, with gingerish hair. He wore a white short-sleeved shirt and light coloured jeans.
