FIRE crews have tackled a blaze in a derelict farm shop in Clacton this evening.
Two crews from Clacton arrived at the single storey building on Jaywick Lane shortly after 8.45pm and used two hose reels and one main jet to fight the fire.
Essex County and Fire and Rescue Service report the building measured 15 metres by 15 metres and that the fire was fully extinguished by 9.30pm.
Crews remained at the scene turning over and damping down to ensure there were no hotspots.
An investigation will be carried out to establish the cause of the incident.
