CREWS were called to a fire on the roof of an office block which was under renovation.
The incident happened on Wednesday September 19, at about 6.10pm in Carnarvon Road, Clacton.
The guttering and part of the flat roof was alight.
Crews from two appliances from Clacton wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire by 6.45pm.
A thermal image camera was used to check for any hotspots and a high pressured fan was used to free the area of smoke.
