POLICE have made arrests after an altercation in Clacton.

The incident took place in the McDonalds restaurant at Pier Avenue at around 7.15pm on August 31.

Four people were arrested on suspicion of affray and released on police bail pending further enquiries until October 1.

They are a 21-year-old woman from Clacton, a 16-year-old boy from Jaywick, a 29-year-old man from St Osyth and a 17-year-old girl from Clacton.

During the altercation police believe a young boy may have been injured. Officers are looking to trace this boy, who is believed to have been in the company of his father.
