A MAN has been arrested following a burglary which saw jewellery stolen from a house in Clacton.

The house in Victory Road was broken into between 4.30pm and 8.40pm on March 30, after a downstairs window was forced open.

Jewellery totalling an estimated four-figure sum was taken from the house.

A 22-year-old man from Clacton was arrested on Monday on suspicion of burglary and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until April 9.
