A MAN is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in his side.
Police were called to Langham Drive on Tuesday at 4.50pm.
A man in his 20s had been stabbed in his torso and on his right hand. He was taken to Colchester General Hospital where he is in a stable condition.
Police are currently investigating the incident and say they believe they know who is responsible.
This is the latest in a series of stabbings which have occurred the seaside town in the last year and follows the fatal shooting of off-duty police officer Ian Dibell.
