WITNESSES are being sought to a smash in which a man suffered serious head injuries.
The motorcyclist crashed his machine in Old Ipswich Road, Claydon, around 5.44am on Wednesday.
He was taken to Ipswich hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A section of the road was closed for around six hours while debris was cleared from the scene and a lamp post made safe.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, which did not involve any other vehicles, should call Pc Roy Dade at Suffolk police’s serious collision investigation team on 01473 613500.
It remains unclear how old the man is or where he is from.
