A warmer day is expected today across Suffolk and parts of Essex with brighter spells this afternoon.
It will be a cloudy start to the day with some blue sky and sunny spells but one or two patches of drizzle are forecast to drift across the west of the area from Cambridgeshire.
However, it should turn brighter later in the day but with the small chance of an isolated shower.
Richard Jones, from the Norwich-based Weatherquest centre, said: “It is looking like a cloudy start to the day but it should turn brighter this afternoon with temperatures a little bit above the average for this time of the year at between 20C and 22C and it will be a better day than yesterday.
“This evening there’s a small chance of a shower but it should be predominately dry and will stay cloudy through the first part of the night.”
