A man is due to appear in court next month after a 96-year-old woman died in a collision involving a coach in Colchester in January.
Kenneth Reeves, 61, of Fordwich Road, Brightlingsea, has been charged with suspicion of causing death by careless driving and is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates Court on October 6.
Mr Reeves was the driver of a coach which was involved in a collision with a female pedestrian on East Hill on January 16 this year.
Nora Hewitt, 96, from Colchester, died as a result of the collision.
